Machu Picchu Full Day by Train

To begin our full-day tour, our transportation will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Ollantaytambo train station. From here, you will board the Expedition Train (PeruRail) to Aguas Calientes. During the trip, you will pass through the stunning Sacred Valley, following the course of the Urubamba River. Near the end of the valley, you will spot the bridge marking the starting point of the Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Shortly after, the train enters a canyon leading to the town of Aguas Calientes, located at the foot of Machu Picchu Mountain.

Upon arrival, you will board a bus for a 40-minute ride to the legendary Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu. You will have time to walk to the viewpoints for spectacular panoramic views. Then, enjoy a guided tour of the most important sites, including the Temple of the Sun, the Royal Palace, the Main Temple, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Sacred Rock, storage houses, and agricultural terraces.

In the afternoon, at the scheduled time, you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, followed by the train return to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our transportation will take you back to your hotel in Cusco, concluding your unforgettable Machu Picchu Full Day Tour.
