Itinerario
Upon arrival at Cusco airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. The morning is free for rest and acclimatization. After lunch, enjoy a guided walking tour of Cusco’s historic center. Visit the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, colonial churches, Inca streets, the Temple of Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), and the colorful San Pedro Market.

In the morning, you will be transferred to Ollantaytambo train station to board the Expedition Train (1h 40min ride) to Aguas Calientes. From there, take a bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu.
Enjoy a guided tour through the main sectors of the citadel: temples, plazas, terraces, and stairways carved in stone. Afterward, you will have free time to explore on your own before returning by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night. Optional visit to the hot springs.

After breakfast, board an early bus to Machu Picchu to witness a magnificent sunrise. Then begin the hike up Huayna Picchu Mountain. From the summit, you will enjoy unforgettable panoramic views of Machu Picchu and its surrounding landscape.
This challenging hike is not technical but is considered strenuous, with steep ascents and narrow stone steps. After returning, you’ll have time to rest and have lunch before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo and transferring to your hotel in Cusco.
