Upon arrival in Cusco, our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to rest and acclimate to the altitude. You may also explore the city and visit iconic places such as the Plaza de Armas, Sapantiana Aqueduct, and the San Pedro Market.

After breakfast, you’ll begin your adventure into the Sacred Valley. Your first stop is Chinchero, home to impressive archaeological remains and a vibrant textile tradition. Next, visit the Maras Salt Mines, with over 3,000 Inca-era salt pools, and Moray, an ancient Incan agricultural lab known for its circular terraces. Enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, then continue to Ollantaytambo, a stunning Inca fortress with panoramic views and rich heritage.

After breakfast, transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo for a scenic journey to Aguas Calientes aboard the Expedition train. Upon arrival, our representative will assist with check-in at your hotel. Later, take the shuttle bus up to Machu Picchu and enjoy a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit iconic areas like the Temple of the Sun, Sacred Solar Clock, Temple of the Three Windows, and Sacred Rock. After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes and spend the afternoon exploring the town or visiting the hot springs.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and take time to explore Aguas Calientes, visit the butterfly sanctuary, or relax in the thermal baths. At the agreed time, board the Vistadome train back to Ollantaytambo. During the 1 hour 40-minute journey, enjoy onboard service with snacks, drinks, and a live traditional dance performance. Upon arrival, continue by vehicle to Cusco. In the evening, attend the Qosqo Center of Native Art for a live Andean folk dance show (included in your BTG pass).
