Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between Inversiones Turísticas Machupicchu Andean Wonder SAC, RUC: 20615367304, hereinafter “Machupicchu Andean Wonder”, and the clients who hire our tourist services in the destination Peru. By booking and participating in any of our tourist packages, tours, activities or services, you, hereinafter “the Client”, accept and agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

Reservations

  1. All reservations must be made through our channels and partners or by electronic contact with our authorized commercial advisors.
  2. All reservations are subject to availability and must be made at least 2 months in advance, counting from the date of payment of the reservation to the start date of the service.
  3. To confirm a reservation, a deposit between 20% to 40% of the total cost of the tourist package or service requested will be required, depending on the package to be contracted. 
  4. Full payment must be made up to one day before the start of the service. Considering an additional 8% commission for using the payment gateway with debit or credit cards. Payment in cash does not generate this commission.

Prices and Payment Methods

  1. All prices are indicated in US DOLLARS and are established at the time of reservation.
  2. The prices include the services detailed in the contracted CONFIRMATION INVOICE, unless otherwise specified.
  3. The only authorized methods for reservation are:
    1. Payment by debit or credit card, through the IZIpay platform. For which an Authorized Advisor will request a personal email to send you the PAYMENT LINK.
    2. Payment by bank transfer, available only in Mexico. For which an Authorized Advisor will request an email, full name and contact number to send you a PAYMENT LINK. Payment reflected in Mexican pesos at the exchange rate of the day.

Modifications and Cancellations by the Company

  1. We reserve the right to modify, reschedule or cancel any tour or service due to unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions, logistical problems or force majeure situations.
  2. In case of cancellation by the Company, the Client will be offered the option to reschedule the tour or service.

Modifications and Cancellations by the Client

  1. Requests to modify or cancel a reservation must be made in writing.
  2. The addition of new services to the reservation will not generate any charge.
  3. The reduction of services or rescheduling of the reservation will generate charges related to the services of suppliers already committed and paid at the time of the modification request.
  4. In the event of cancellation of the reservation or no-show of the client, the amount of the reservation advance is NOT REFUNDABLE.

Client Responsibilities

  1. It is the Client’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including details of dietary restrictions, medical conditions or any other special needs.
  2. The Client is responsible for complying with the documentation and visa requirements necessary to enter and travel through the country.

Insurance:

  1. It is strongly recommended that the Client takes out travel insurance that covers any eventuality, including cancellations, loss of luggage, accidents and illnesses.

Limitation of Liability

  1. The Company will not be liable for any loss, injury, damage or expense incurred as a result of actions or negligence on the part of the Client or third parties.
  2. The Company’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the contracted services.

Image Right

  1. The Company reserves the right to use photographs or videos taken during tours or services for promotional purposes, unless otherwise indicated in writing by the Client at the time of booking.

Acceptance and Scope of Resolution

By contracting our tourist services in Cusco and Peru, the Client accepts and acknowledges having read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions in their entirety. Any dispute or claim related to these terms and conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the place of operation of Machupicchu Andean Wonder.
