Upon arrival in Cusco, our representatives will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for rest and acclimatization to the city’s altitude. You may also choose to explore Cusco’s cobblestone streets and historic sites such as the Plaza de Armas, Sapantiana Aqueduct, and San Pedro Market.

After breakfast, we head to the Sacred Valley. Our first stop is Chinchero, where you will visit the archaeological site and enjoy a unique traditional textile demonstration. We then continue to the Maras Salt Mines, with over 3,000 Inca salt pools, and the Moray Agricultural Laboratory, famous for its circular terraces that demonstrate the Incas’ advanced understanding of microclimates. Lunch buffet in Urubamba, followed by a visit to Ollantaytambo fortress.

Overnight in: Sacred Valley

Early morning transfer to Ollantaytambo train station for a scenic journey to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, you will be escorted to your hotel. Later, board the bus to Machu Picchu for a guided tour of this archaeological wonder, visiting the Temple of the Sun, Sacred Sun Dial, Temple of the Three Windows, Main Temple, and Sacred Rock. After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes for free time.

Morning free to explore Aguas Calientes, visit the butterfly garden, or enjoy the thermal baths. In the afternoon, board the Vistadome train back to Ollantaytambo, enjoying a live dance performance and onboard service. Continue by bus to Cusco and attend a traditional dance show at the Qosqo Center of Native Art.

Overnight in: Cusco

After breakfast, depart for Puno along the scenic Sun Route. Stops include the Church of Andahuaylillas (the “Sistine Chapel of America”), the archaeological site of Raqchi and its Temple of Wiracocha, Abra de la Raya mountain pass at 4,300 meters, and the Pucara Lithic Museum. Lunch included en route.

Overnight in: Puno

Boat tour to the floating Uros Islands, where you will learn about the locals’ traditional reed craftsmanship. Continue to Amantani Island, known for its agricultural terraces and warm hospitality. Return to Puno in the afternoon for free time.

Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to Juliaca Airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Optional visits to Barranco or the Miraflores Lighthouse.

Early departure by bus to Paracas for a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, home to sea lions, penguins, and a variety of seabirds. Continue to Huacachina Oasis for dune buggy and sandboarding adventures. Evening return to Lima.

Morning free, followed by a guided tour of Lima’s historic center, including the Plaza Mayor, Cathedral, San Francisco Church and Catacombs, Huaca Pucllana, and Miraflores’ Love Park.
