Day 01: Rainbow Mountain Full-Day Hike

  • At 4:00 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco.
  • We will travel to the town of Cusipata, where you will enjoy a local breakfast.
  • Then, we will continue by vehicle to the starting point of the hike.
  • The hike takes approximately 2 hours, crossing stunning landscapes with views of mountains, rivers, and meadows filled with alpacas and llamas.
  • Upon reaching the summit of Rainbow Mountain, you will have time to rest, take pictures, and admire the breathtaking panoramic view of the Ausangate glacier.
  • For those who prefer, horses are available to rent and make the ascent easier.
  • After the visit, we will begin the return to Cusipata to enjoy a well-deserved lunch.
  • Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco.
